Citizen Scientist where science is collaborative and participation is open to everyone. We work to ensure our program and platform are accessible and inclusive. We value different points of view and seek to increase the range of perspectives involved in the scientific process. We work with federal agencies to highlight forms of science including participatory science, community science, open science, and citizen science that actively seek to draw in participants from underrepresented viewpoints.

GirlTREK is a global movement that leverages the historic legacy of walking and the power of self-care to inspire Black women to live their healthiest, most fulfilled lives. Founded in 2012 by T. Morgan Dixon and Vanessa Garrison, GirlTREK is dedicated to reversing the chronic health conditions that lead to early death for Black women.

Laraaji is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in piano, zither, and mbira and known for his ambient, celestial soundscapes. In 2022, Laraaji joined the Medicine Singers, a group of Native American ritual performance artists, to play on their self-titled album. He leads Laughter Meditation Workshops around the globe.

NTS is a global music platform and radio station, broadcasting from over sixty cities every month. It started as a DIY passion project in Hackney in 2011, with the aim of creating an alternative to stagnant mainstream radio. Since then, NTS has expanded with permanent studios in Los Angeles and Manchester. The platform has over 600 resident hosts, composed of a mix of musicians, DJs, artists, and everything in between.

NY Sun Works is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing quality sustainability science and climate education to K-12 city schools. Through our Hydroponic Classrooms, we provide hands-on learning experiences that foster scientific inquiry and environmental stewardship. NY Sun Works’ curriculum transforms students into Farmer Scientists, introducing them to the idea of farming as a science subject.
