New Alpha CDC
New Alpha Community Development Corporation (New Alpha CDC) has a mission to empower and emancipate low- and middle-income families through help with environmental health and economic development. Their goal is to develop more participatory democratic empowerment models that improve lives by building assets and creating wealth for everyday people. New Alpha CDC places a particular emphasis on Environomics. Environomics is the intersection where environmental issues and community economic development issues meet.

Why this matters
As we move forward from a fossil fuel based economy to a clean renewable energy economy, we must ensure that this process is a just transition. We must invite all communities into the new economic opportunities that are created as we renew, move, and transition to a clean renewable energy democracy.
